EDIT: I re-rendered the scene with a different background and updated lighting. Hopefully this version is less distracting.


Here's the new shot I've been working on for the past two weeks. I finished it just in time for Siggraph. =D Sorry about repeating it. The video is only 6 seconds and the film category requires videos to be at least 10 seconds. Once I finish the rest of this scene I'll replace it with the full version. The whole thing is about 30 seconds long and I knew I wouldn't be able to have all of it ready for Siggraph, lol.

As usual, all comments and crits are highly appreciated! Hopefully this addition to my reel will help tip things in my favor during reel reviews. =D

@00:12Wow, thanks for the answer. I'm trying to rig a cat in Maya for my coursework. This is really giving me stick (causing me problems). Are you into that or is your specially animation?

You're welcome. =) Lol, good luck with the cat rig. My knowledge of rigging is extremely basic. I hated rigging in school and avoiding it is one of the reasons my senior film was done in 2d.

@00:12Very nice. Modeling is very Pixar-like and nice coloring. You got a lot of talent, you can do both 2d and 3d animations:thumbsup:.
