Yeah, it's too bad that 3D is taking over the world. I love 2d animation and I really get excited whenever a new cartoon is about to be released. Princess and the Frog was perfect, and I really hope they make more.

And when the first Serbian (I'm from Serbia) 2d animated movie "Edit and I" got released this year I couldn't believe how good it was. Well you can see they made some in-betweens CG, but it was done on a budget of less than million dollars, which is amazing if you compare it to 100-million budgets of Disney ones. It was very successful in Serbia, but I'm not sure if they released it worldwide. But anyway, just hope projects like these encourage more 'smaller' companies around the world to start making 2D animated movies. It would be nice to see cartoons of different styles, languages, themes etc.

And of course I'd love another Disney renaissance too. Disney should stick to it's roots and uniqueness and try not to turn into an average Hollywood company.

But for now all we can do is hope.

Yeah, it would have been nice to have a shadow for her. I believe those are usually done by fx and I didn't have any fx animators to work with. I have no idea how to animate someone's shadow. XD
