sphynxUnderstructure by elipse
sphynxUnderstructure
Fyuvix told me about an idea she had for practicing under structure. The first step was to trace a photo while placing the under structure where you think it should be. Then you redraw the same pose using the same under structure but without the photo. The last step is to make up a pose and draw it using the under structure you came up with in the previous steps. I think it's a good exercise and I feel like I need much more practice with this. My proportions are still pretty bad too, as thats something I've struggled with for years.

Deer Noses
I'm planning on doing a painting featuring a deer and am trying to teach myself how to draw these properly.

I made an asura thief last weekend for role playing purposes. I like him so much that I want to teach myself how to draw him. Also, the thief class is surprisingly fun. I always play as magic users in rpgs since I like the power of spells and such. But the fast paced action of the thief is really fun to play!

Saitada by elipse
Saitada
I just started reading Wolfangel and decided to draw one of the characters. Thus far Saitada is a woman who purposefully burned half of her face due to being tired of abused, raped, and lusted after by men. She is also presumably the mother of two werewolf sons.

I'd like to paint this one of these days. We'll see if that happens or not. XD

Hey guys,
Remember that dark portal I did a while back? Well, the project that was for has been released. Check out Moon Animate Make Up: www.animeherald.com/2014/07/20… I REALLY hope they do another one of these, especially if it's Pokemon related! It NEEDS to be Pokemon related. O_O

Hey I really like your work. I'd like to get into animation, but it's too hard, lol.

Thanks! It definitely isn't easy and requires a lot of time and effort. But if you really want to be an animator, there's no reason to let the difficulty of the process stop you. ^_^

Thank you! =D What do you play as in GW? My main is a lvl 80 charr mesmer and my alt is an asura thief. I haven't played since Destiny came out though so I've forgotten what level my thief was, lol.

Man, you really seem to be a really talented animator. What's your absolutely favourite scenes to animate in your opinion?

Thanks! I haven't had a chance to animate some of the things that I think would be my favorite subjects to bring to life. For example, I LOVE dragons and hope to one day get to animate some for a film. That hasn't happened yet, but animating dragons and dinosaurs is definitely something that I imagine would be on my list of favorites. I would also like to animate some really fun, cartoony characters like Animaniacs. Getting to work on a project using traditional animation is also very high on my wish list. I know that probably isn't as straightforward an answer as you were probably expecting. A lot of the shows I've worked on tend to be within a very similar range style wise, so I haven't really gotten much experience with characters and styles outside of that yet.
